Inspired by recommendations from the 2017 Communities in Action: Pathways to Health Equity report, the Culture of Health Program hosted a webinar series which provided exemplars and resources to help build the capacity of communities to advance a culture of health. The series hosted experts working across national, state, and local levels to highlight and share tools and tactics that communities can leverage to advance health equity.

Engaging Allies in the Culture of Health Movement: Stakeholder Meeting #1

January 25, 2017 | Washington, DCÌý On January 25, 2017, the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Academy of Medicine (NAM), in partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), convened its first stakeholder meeting of its Culture of Health program. This one-day stakeholder meeting was held two weeks after the release of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Academies’ consensus report , and speakers and participants echoed the study’s recommendations and emphasized the important role of health equity to various aspects of our society.
